Colt² - OEC

In October of 2011, the Center for Online Learning, Teaching & Technology will be rolling out the Online Exemplary Course (OEC) Program. This program is a grant-based initiative designed to provide structure, motivation, tools, education, and support for the facutly teaching fully online and reduced seat courses at UTPA.

The OEC will establish a standardized approach for the development and facilitation of online instruction that is based on nationally recognized best practices and promotes the highest level of quality in online education.

The Blackboard Learning Management System became unavailable around 2:30pmon March 6, 2012. Users will not be able to connect to Blackboard until services are restored. We will update our blog with news as it becomes available. Blackboard Learn is not affected by this issue.
